The Easiest Gifts To Get Aren’t The Greatest Gifts To Give
I just realized something. I’ve been giving away far too many t-shirts for my relatives during Christmas that for this year, I want to try and do something different. I have decided to give the adult male members of my family this Diego Silver Satin Torch Flame Lighter. And this should work out well since a lot of men in my family are smokers (bad habit, I know!). Now, for the women in my family, I’m giving away personalized scented candles (and they could use the same lighters I’m giving their husbands!).
Other items that are commonly gifted during Christmas? Based on my own experience, I usually get a lot of underwear from relatives and I don’t know why that is. My husband, on the other hand, gets a lot of handkerchief or socks.
Now, T-shirts, socks, handkerchiefs, underwear? As gifts, these items to me feel like a cop out, a quick way out, a last minute thought that requires no shopping and only because it’s so easy to get. There isn’t much thought required when you get someone a shirt so, I have made it a personal choice to change that and get my relatives something really special and personal.
