Saving Up Gifts For Dad on Father’s Day
Father’s day is only weeks away and my children are now writing down list of things they would like to get for their dad. At the start of the year, I gave them a few dollars as money to start saving up for presents and by Father’s day, whatever amount they have saved, half of this will go to buying their Father’s day present. Each child is supposed to get one for their dad.
My eldest, who have saved the list, is thinking of getting this watch money clip for Daddy, since he knows it will be very useful when my husband is out on his travels.
The two younger children have a lot more money saved but their gift choices are so much more impractical and well, it’s pretty amusing. Our youngest wants to give his dad a Harry Potter cape, for whatever reason.
The three kids would also like to use their money to treat their father to dinner, which I think is really special and cute. They did the same for me during Mother’s Day, except that they bought groceries and cooked the food food in our kitchen instead.
Have you started shopping for your father’s day gift? What are you getting Dad?
