A Lackluster Star

The Samsung Diva phone promises a lot, but unfortunately it is not packed with many great features. Powered by Touchwiz, an operating system that’s user-friendly and responsive, Diva can be a little slow at times. Moreover, it comes with a built-in 3.1 megapixel camera that has auto-focus features, and virtually nothing else. You’d expect this with cheap contract mobile phones but with Diva’s frivolous designs, you’d think that the camera would be one of its strong points, but sad to say, it just does not have the features you’d expect of something that’s glamorous. Sure, there’s a photo editor, but the features are also limited, which is so un-diva-like.

More woes for the Diva, the phone uses only tri-band technology, and connectivity options are limited to Bluetooth A2DP, GPRS, and Edge – no wi-fi nor 3G. Although you’ll be able to send SMS and MMS messages, as well as email, doing so can be frustrating because of the tendency of the screen to lag. It compares poorly with other top phones from competitors. The lack of these features are somewhat compensated by the Facebook integration capability and YouTube compatibility of the Diva.

If physical appearances are more important to you than features and capabilities, then perhaps, you may just be able to turn a blind eye on the flaws of the Samsun Diva mobile phone. Of course, other’s have differing views on this phone. However we would say, too, that when you are after quality and value for your money, the Diva is not going to be your best option, for sure.
